Annual Distribution
Every year, Caritatea Association, in collaboration with Joni and Friends USA organize a distribution of wheelchairs, walkers and crutches, for people with disabilities. Our collaboration started 17 years ago, supporting people in need, from Cluj and nearby cities.
The wheelchairs are distributed on a cooperation agreement, after filling up a form, accompanied by a medical certificate.
• In 2008, 234 wheelchairs, 60 pairs of axillary crutches, 135 walkers, 11 toilet seats, 4 beds and 11 canes were distributed.
• In 2009, 343 wheelchairs, 117 pairs of axillary crutches, 4 canes, 120 walkers, 4 beds, 8 tripod canes and 6 toilet seats were distributed.
• In 2010, 305 wheelchairs, 48 pairs of axillary crutches, 171 walkers, 5 beds, 4 canes, 6 tripod canes, 9 toilet seats were distributed.
